THE 2008 SHOW SEASON STARTED OUT WITH A BANG!
RAMASOTTI
- Carolyn's 14 yo Belgian Warmblood qualified for Championships at PSG
on his first outing, as well as was the FEI Reserve Champion at Harmony
in the Park in Indiana. Since then his performance has been steady as
we learn more about riding and showing FEI.
PROMENADE -
Carolyn's 11 yo Dutch Warmblood mare keeps getting better and better!!
Starting in May, was the Third Level Champion at Harmony in the Park.
Since then, her scores keep getting higher and at the most recent show
scored 69% twice at Third Level taking home the Blue!
WINSOME -
Promenade's daughter by Kevekko, was re-acquired by Carolyn last year.
After some rough spots, she is now going well and will be shown next
year.
ZACHARY - 4 yo gelding by Kevekko was started this year
and is as steady as they come with three excellent gaits. We're
looking forward to taking these two out in 2009.
Carolyn also
recently purchased two 2008 foals; a lovely Bugatti filly from Hilltop
Farm, and a Dutch Warmblood colt by Santana (by Sandro Hit) from Windy
Ridge in Pennsylvania. They are due to arrive at Premier Dressage in
October.
Carolyn has had many clinic opportunities this year,
and has trained with Olympians Michelle Gibson and Tom Dvorak, as well
as the Betreiter from the Spanish riding school, Rudi Rostek. Also,
Carolyn has had instruction from the renowned riders Nancy Smith and
Charlotte Bayley. Carolyn is planning to train in Florida for a month
with Michelle Gibson this Fall for more intensive instruction. It has
certainly been an educational year!
We are now looking ahead to Championships in September.
Also,
we are looking forward to our new role as Grandparents. Colleen is due
at the end of August! With four of our five children married,
hopefully more "munchkins" will be forthcoming in the future! |
Training and Lessons are
available year-round at Premier Dressage, and Carolyn is also available
for clinics at your facility. Please direct inquiries to:
